The ”Ovile” was inspired by the wax paper take away packaging, used locally In Singapore. The objective is to achieve a product that can give certain stability and structure which allows better handling either on the GO or an a tabletop. The product has to fulfill the function of being waterproof and easy to secure.

The idea is to create a food plate that is waterproof, unbreakable and can be packed for taking away because 7.70 million tonnes of solid waste was generated in 2018, and the idea is to reduce solid waste by creating a new way of food wraps. The users can also reuse as it can be washed and reuse as a plate at home and lunchbox. Furthermore, the idea has two different sizes, medium and large.
